Suited & booted

Dressing men for work
Some men in the community – perhaps long-term unemployed, or ex-service men, or male ex-offenders, or men with HIV/AIDS – may be struggling and in need of support, both financial and practical. They may be ill-equipped to ‘look the part’ and so be unable to give themselves the best possible chance at a job interview. Suited & Booted gives a helping hand to men from this community, by providing them with an appropriate outfit when they have a job interview. This gives them better prospects of success, and contributes to their general self-confidence and self-esteem.

How it works
When men from this community with job interviews are referred to the Tab, volunteers at Suited & Booted mentor them for their interview, and help them by making sure that they are dressed suitably, and by providing general support. So they can go to the interview suited and booted and kitted for life.

How you can help
We are looking for good quality working clothes, ties and shoes to dress men. Our team will then do the rest, and will ensure that these men have the best possible chance for job success.
